Snapping selfies, using filters, tanning - social media has undoubtedly fuelled an emphasis on visual appearance. Hundreds of photos taken but just one perfect one selected for *the* instagram post. With selfie-snapping a habit in adolescents, how can we utilise technology to engage them in healthy skin habits and educate on the sun's damaging effects on physical appearance (think spots, wrinkles, and premature ageing) and avoiding the dangerous effects of (over) tanning, whether artificial or natural?
